This License ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("you", "User") and Simple Money Tracker that governs your access to and use of the Simple Money Tracker software and services, including our web application, mobile web experience, Telegram bot integration, and related features (collectively, the "Software" or "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Relationship to Other Documents

This EULA is part of, and should be read together with, our:

If there is a conflict between this EULA and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use control regarding billing, refunds, disputes, and general service rules.

2) License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Terms of Use, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal use or internal business use (if you are using it for your own organization), during the period your account is active.

No ownership is transferred. The Service is licensed, not sold.

3) Accounts, Plans, and Feature Access

  • Some features are available only with Pro access (e.g., higher limits, Telegram integration, increased AI limits, and file storage features).
  • Payments (where applicable) are processed via PayPal.
  • We may update, add, remove, or change features and limits over time to improve the Service.

4) Restrictions (What You May Not Do)

You agree you will not, and will not permit others to:

  1. Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service (except where explicitly permitted by law).
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to discover source code, or bypass any encryption, security, or access controls.
  3. Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service, or use automated means to access the Service in a way that degrades performance.
  4. Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
  5. Use the Service to break the law, infringe third-party rights, or violate privacy.
  6. Upload or distribute malware, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt systems.
  7. Circumvent plan limits, including by sharing accounts in a way that is abusive or unauthorized.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated this EULA.

5) User Content and File Storage

Some features allow you to upload or store content (e.g., receipts, invoices, images, and files) ("User Content").

  • You own your User Content.
  • You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to operate the Service.
  • You represent you have all rights necessary to upload your User Content and that it does not violate laws or third-party rights.

Storage security note

The Service uses strong security controls and may use encryption to protect data. However, you are responsible for:

  • not uploading content you are not legally allowed to store/share
  • keeping backups of any irreplaceable files

6) Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Examples include:

  • Google (Firebase hosting/database/storage, Google Login, analytics, and AI services such as Vertex AI and Dialogflow CX)
  • PayPal (payment processing)
  • Telegram (messaging infrastructure for bot-based logging)
  • ZeptoMail (transactional email delivery)

We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, policy changes, or acts/omissions of these third parties.

7) AI Features Disclaimer

The Service includes AI-powered features (for example: expense categorization, natural language input via Telegram, and AI coaching/insights).

  • AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.
  • AI features are provided for informational and productivity purposes only and are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
  • Do not enter sensitive secrets into AI prompts (e.g., full card numbers, bank login credentials, government ID numbers).

You are responsible for verifying outputs before acting on them.

8) Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (including software, source code, databases, UI design, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks) are owned by Simple Money Tracker or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the license granted in Section 2, no rights are granted to you.

9) Feedback

If you provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10) Updates and Availability

We may release updates, patches, or changes to the Service. We do not guarantee the Service will be available at all times or that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

11) Termination

This license remains in effect until terminated.

  • You may terminate by stopping use of the Service and deleting your account (if available).
  • We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate this EULA or the Terms of Use, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your rights under this EULA end immediately.

12) Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simple Money Tracker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited as described in the Terms of Use.

14) DMCA / Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes copyright, please send a notice to:

Your notice should include:

  • identification of the copyrighted work
  • identification/location (URL or description) of the allegedly infringing content
  • your contact information
  • statements of good-faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury

We may remove content or restrict access in response to valid notices.

15) Export Controls and Sanctions

You may not use the Service if you are located in a country subject to comprehensive sanctions or if you are on a restricted persons list, to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

16) Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the same governing law and dispute terms as the Terms of Use, unless mandatory consumer laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
