2. Something you have: A unique, 6-digit code generated by a security app on your smartphone.

How to Get Started
Setting up 2FA is quick and easy. Simply navigate to your Profile settings and find the Security section. You can use any standard TOTP app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
Once you scan the QR code and verify your first 6-digit token, 2FA will be active for your account. It's a small step that provides massive peace of mind.

2FA is available to every single user of Simple Money Tracker, regardless of their plan. Security should never be a premium feature.
Backup Codes: Your Safety Net
We also understand that life happens—phones get lost or upgraded. That's why we provide a set of unique Backup Codes during the setup process.
Be sure to download or print these codes and keep them in a safe place. They are your "key of last resort" to regain access to your account if you ever lose access to your authenticator app.
